Needless to say, I have been quite absent from DA. I don't see that changing anytime very soon however. I shall try, but my drawing has taken a back seat to life. Plus with my tablet pen having turned up missing, it ends up with me having to readjust to using a laptop touchpad which is insane to get used to again. There are several projects and characters in the work, so you might see a trickling here and there. The biggest activity of mine will probably be going favorite crazy and a few comments here and there. I don't suspect I'll be able to keep up with journals on my smart phone though.

I haven't been really back here in over a year... o_o
Well, now I am on my own two feet living with my husband. I've had the internet, I just keep forgetting about DA for some odd reason. Mostly because now most of the art I am drawing ends up on FA or on my favorite adoptable website ChickenSmoothie. So recently I have been thinking about DA, and some owed art. So those two Kiriban winners {who have been waiting for over a year now D:} I am probably going to reline the art, since I've improved alot since I first started. XD I also have decided I might as well upload my anthro related art on here as well.

So here is to hoping I stay more active here ^-^;

Sorry to both and , I don't know when I will be back online to be able to send you the drawings you won. I have been working on them though ^-^;;

Well I could be just leaving, I don't know. For the few people who know me off DA, from LJ you know I tend to disappear alot. This is a bit different. My mother kicked me out of the house, for the second time in my life. I am 24 years old, and still struggling to get back on my feet. Now due to something so... pointless I am once again being fired out. This shall be the last time though, as thankfully I do have friends who have a place for me to stay. Perhaps I'll finally stumble onto my feet, get that car and finally be out on my own. I'm worried this will affect my job, since I work in the same school my mother does... practically right under her.

So... I'm essentially rambling beyond my need. I wasn't very active to begin with, and now I just won't be for as long as it takes for me to get back on my feet. I hope everyone takes care, and keep doing that awesome artwork everyone!

So far so good, though things are moving a bit slower then planned since my full-time job started up. It is taking alot more out my energy then I ever expected. I feel I am getting better with the tablet, though inking -whether digital or otherwise- is such a pain. Its always been my weak point, which is why I opt to do it digitally. When I start inking on paper, I get extremely unhappy with the originals results. It looses the feeling it once carried. Thus I feel better keeping the pencil sketches intact and tear apart the digital copies to my content. I realized half-way inking through Link, that I hadn't used any reference and might be off on some important detail. I looked up tons of images, and made one consistant discovery, I completely messed up the hair. Thus it is taking a bit longer since I need to fix the hair, though everything else is working well.

Besides the Kiriban Winner requests, I have been working on a few other pieces. Only one of which got done, since I was quite inspired. However, debating whether to upload it to DA right now. Will think on it, since its fanart of someone's character.

Wow, over 200 deviations to look through... I think I'll go through all of those when I have just a bit more time... *snores*

See, this is what happens when I show up to pick up my fiance from work, only to have to wait an hour longer. Thankfully, it was a very productive hour. I had my pencil, and a sketchbook with me. So I thought 'Why not?' and began to sketch out the subject of the two winners. Was actually quite surprised how easily everything flowed for me, with just pencil and paper. So this kinda solves it for me. I need to stop trying to sketch out from scratch on my tablet on Adobe Photoshop, which has seemed to be failing consistently in my eyes. Thus I am going to try to resort to pencil and paper more, and use digital programs to ink, color and add beautiful effects. Yeah, pretty much the rest of the procress yet it seems key to me that I need to do it pencil and paper first.

Huzzah for new discoveries. Also, just a one word subject seems to be inspirational for me. I need to try one of those 100 themes, to really stretch my creative block. Hope everyone is doing well, and Happy New Year!
